Here in LA, surrounded by palm trees and constant sunshine, I started to feel very inspired. Having worked in fashion for many years, I wanted a creative outlet so I went out and bought my first embroidery machine.
I picked up a pair of vintage Levis from the Rose Bowl flea market and designed my first piece: embroidered denim shorts with the perfect Coachella boho vibe. The shorts were cute, but I felt like they were missing something... they lacked heart. I wanted to design styles that were both wearable and meaningful, not just trendy. More than anything, I wanted to put something out into the world that would be cherished. Something that would hold special memories and help people relive the best of times with each wear.
Bridal jackets were the perfect starting point. A wedding day keepsake that can be worn and enjoyed time and time again, long after the cake has been eaten and the dress stored away.
Being his mom has brought me more joy and love than I ever imagined. It has also sparked SO much inspiration.
Now, more than ever, it’s important for me to build a career I’m passionate about, that allows me to work from home where I can watch him grow. And I feel so blessed to be able to do what I do. His arrival also marked the introduction of my baby and kids collection. I mean, nothing is cuter than a baby in a tiny denim jacket.
Seeing photos of customers wearing my designs brings the biggest smile to my face. I feel so honored to be a small piece of these milestone moments. And that’s the best part - connecting with clients and helping them design a wearable keepsake to mark their most cherished memories.
